So, they're not necessarily athletes, but the definition of a sport is requiring skill OR physical prowess. I can believe this is as much of a sport as golf, ping pong, fishing or chess.

Man, I'd never heard of "nice guy syndrome" before this. It's honestly... kind of pathetic. Regarding gamers, it makes me sad that a girl would want to leave that interest off a profile because of being jumped all over by guys like this, but I totally get it. I remember hearing stories from E3 and some other video…
Of course he couldn't. That would mean he's breaking off from a system he's a part of and helps perpetuate just like most other people in Washington.
I'm pretty sure drug dealers don't pay taxes. That's a lot of money the government is losing out on, if you ask me.
I have no control in the decisions the company I work for makes on a daily basis. I guess I put all my eggs in a bad basket because of that. Man, am I an idiot.
So I guess you don't think being an actor or athlete is a legitimate career, either. Do you scoff at the Olympics or at video game programmers, telling everyone they need to get "real jobs" because they're not worthwhile or productive? Likewise for anyone else who has a career that doesn't affect you personally?…

Godzilla isn't like the Kaiju in Pacific Rim. He's (traditionally) unstoppable. He can take damage, but he recovers from everything.

Don't talk to me about the Expanded Universe. I read dozens of books before Lucas flippantly decided they weren't canon.
They don't seem to require them because R2 and 3P0 are loyal to the rebels. But, R2 needed it removed so he could leave to go to Obi-Wan. It's already clear that droids experience emotion, pain and regret in some form or fashion, even if not the same as humans. Even if it's programmed pain and emotion, what makes it…
The restraining bolt was to keep them from leaving, not control their programming. It's kind of like a shock collar for a robot. Just look at C3P0's reaction when Luke activates it while he's hiding after R2D2 runs off to find Obi-Wan on A New Hope.
Then why do restraining bolts exist for droids? Oh yes, slaves. Still love Star Wars, but come on.
