Playing Wipeout feels like trying to steer a speedboat through a racing course.

Unlike the dark, rough look of Wipeout and Wipeout 2097, F-Zero X comes across as vibrant and blooming.

And some real driver’s ed. I know at least in my state of Texas it was a joke I learned everything from my parents who are good drivers but if I hadn’t been so lucky I would’ve been part of the problem.

Nah, it has perhaps too many reused plot points but it feels like a very different movie and its new characters are very distinct. They also subvert many tropes that people expect from the series (such as Kylo Ren’s inner conflict mirroring but being sort of an inverse of other past characters)
