Yeah, whenever there is an incident like this, people start discussing whether or not the feelings are warranted, who's to blame for the incident, etc. It's all irrelevant. You're a paid professional doing something that requires enormous amounts of discipline. I don't care how competitive you are, if you can't switch

Yeah, I can honestly say that I've never read a trashy romance novel, but I was under the impression that every male protagonist in those novels was more of a long-haired but well-groomed English/French/Spanish lord/duke than a hobo on a high-protein diet.

Yeah, I don't understand it when people complain that something that should be utilitarian is 'too busy'. If it looks like they bought thousands of parts from different suppliers and just bolted them all together, then it's a good and realistic design.

So did the people producing these, apparently...

Everything in America is advertised without tax, but then your sales tax varies from state to state, right? Where I live, the sales tax/VAT is the same in the entire country, meaning that what matters to the customer is the price that he/she needs to pay at checkout (i.e. including sales tax).

I think that we should adopt this logic for everything.

Currently, my only computer is my work-issued laptop with integrated graphics, so I'm basically playing Besiege and a bunch of emulators, but my gf wants us to build a gaming rig when we move together in a month. I'll try to spec it based on a few games that we want to play, and while GTA has been on that list it's

I just posted this mockup on Oppo. I’m still not a fan of certain design elements, but on the whole I would think that it would be a pretty promising concept if they only dropped the funhouse kidneys.

Regarding the tires, that’s my point. The choice of tires is something that is obviously regionally dependent, and if the EU started meddling with that people would be incredibly annoyed. But as long as the legislation makes sense for everyone, like it does with annual inspections, people just don’t care.

Sigh. The more I read about it, the less keen I get on getting GTA.

I’m just copy-pasting my reply to another commenter, since he brought up the same arguments:

That’s why I brought up the European Parlament, since it’s a pretty close anology. It governs an area far more culturally diverse than the US (try visiting Finland and Italy if you don’t believe me, you'll find two cultures more different than those of Canada and Brazil), yet in most cases people don’t really care

Shouldn’t you be able to drive without a driver’s license then, or drunk? I mean, you’re only risking your own safety. Oh, right, that’s not the case.

I was also in a bit of a shock hearing that there are states without inspections. Most people seem to think that the inspections make money for the government (where I live the price is absurdly low compared to the hourly rate of a mechanic) or that you’re required to pay to fix the issue on the spot (again, where I

From a European perspective, I think it’s more a matter that we don’t understand WHY there is a distinction. As long as it’s the government making a decision (and that government is more or less held accountable to the public), many Europeans don’t care whether a decision is made on a municipal level, on a regional

Well, can you blame it?

I disliked the E30 look back in the 1990s, but it grew on me and aged very well. I disliked the flame surface look that BMW introduced in the early 2000s, but it also did grow on me. Despite all this, I confidently state that if the future me ever likes the oversized droopy kidneys on this car, I want someone to just

Fuck, Kinja hates me and now I can’t edit. Sometimes it’s just deleting random segments of my posts without me noticing it.

Well, it’s a sign asking German ladies to release their bosoms from the prisons of their shirts/sweaters/dirndl dresses.

Zero compared to Wipeout, but did you try Wipeout HD for PS3??
