The Ross flag has always been unique to the 4th of July holiday. Flying it should never, ever be considered inappropriate.

You mean the same nation in which you’re living right now? Unlike the Confederate battle flag, the Betsy Ross flag was actually a symbol of the USA. It should never be considered to be anything less, even if a scraggly collection of half-wits decided to bring one to a hate rally.
