That was a low fucking blow, Destiny Hope.

I did feel that way about Drop Dead Diva but I've found that, pretty quickly, they got over that and Jane Bingham is treated as a sexy, powerhouse lawyer with no caveats. Men like her and they don't fetishize her by bullshit euphemisms about her weight, "oh i LOVE a curvy woman" <barf>. She just is. The show isn't…
He's really doubled-down on the Prince Valiant aesthetic, I'll give him that.
Drop Dead Diva did not make a non-stop deal about the size of the lead actress. There were one or two episodes where it was central, but most of the time it was not. That's why I liked it.

Making this funnier to me is remembering something on the Ricky Gervais podcast where Stephen Merchant boasted that he's, "a bit of a mover" and Karl Pilkington countered that his dancing, "just looks like some kind of weird art." As in many things, Karl is not wrong. Love Stephen Merchant.
I look at his teeth and all I can see is this:
That was the old teaching.
Sheryl Underwood needs to shut up and stop embarassing herself with her self-hating antics.
Some of my friend's kids are told to call me by my first name. I find it really obnoxious, personally. When I was growing up, close family friends are always "aunt-" or "uncle-" whatever. It's a term of endearment and respect. Other wise it was Mr. or Ms.
They brought them back because they're ridiculously cheap to produce, and people seem to watch the hell out of them. Capitalism is one hell of a drug.
unpopular opinion time: I think this trend only looks cute on thick black girls.
