It's a Philly thing, you wouldn't understand.

Counterpoint: Ovi is as American as apple pie

Worse than the guy at the blackjack table who constantly calls it poker?

By definition, he’s not. He’s had multiple Top 20 hits, including two number ones. I’m not a huge fan, but let’s be real.

...become a good rapper who makes good songs, or get out of the way to make space for someone who will.

So he should either stop making music/money, or start performing in a way that is better than the way that made him ultra-successful?

Right? If she was impaired enough to think going outside like that was a good idea who’s to say that the friends that saw her weren’t equally impaired. About the most blame you can put on them is bringing an alcoholic who’s trying to stay sober to a place where there’s booze. The blame to me seems to be on addiction

I agree. Also, it’s safe to assume that her friends were also highly intoxicated and probably not thinking quite as clearly as hindsight commenters on the internet.

It’s completely tragic. I pulled the same crap when I was 21. I lived in upstate New York. If you mean the cheap shot on Antonio Brown by Burfict, the issue was that the play was already dead and he had already been hit and he charged in to knock him unconscious just out of spite and is going to likely face a 4 game suspension and a serious fine. It’s the definition of a cheap shot that lost the

Yeah, most advice is the result of someone’s trial and error. There are plenty of reasons to criticize Deion, but this doesn’t strike me as a reasonable one.

the G in Gawker stands for...

I'm pretty certain that 48 year old Deion today would scold 25 year old Deion from back in the day and offer up the same critique. It's called maturity, and the fact that he's developed some shouldn't be held against him. If we were to do that, everything a mature adult says would be classified as hypocrisy, because

I disagree

As a black man, I have to say that no one should be offended by what you just said. They are both extremely talented athletes and world class stupid motherfuckers. It’s actually pretty incredible.
