I mean, yeah, of course they would put the Millennium Falcon in there just for the fans, but if you view the movie impartial to what you think the director would do, suspend disbelief and put yourself in the frame of the fictional universe, there’s really no reason to assume it’s the Millennium Falcon.

Oh, they did go bankrupt... but the story of how they got the extras cash (or credits) they needed involves things like corrupt government officials, banking clans, and trade treaties which as history has shown (with the prequel trilogy) isn’t what the greater % of Star Wars fans are interested in and what to see.
