I just don’t get the hype for these books. I read the first and was TOTALLY underwhelmed. Then I did some cursory investigating of the plot of the sequels and really felt I dodged a bullet by stopping after the first book.

During my normal RSS skimming at first glance I saw “...30oth episode...hour-long...Highlight Reel” and was like “Daaaaayum that’s a lot of highlights!”

For better or worse I knew Ryan Reynolds was gonna be a thing after seeing 2 Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place. After seeing the goofy scrawny blond kid (Ryan Gosling) in Remember the Titans, I had the same feeling.
