Nerd walks in and shuffles his feet and reluctantly says, “He is Atlantean, not a mermaid.” Then lowers his head and shuffles out before anyone notices.

He is so goddamn dense that it’s honestly a miracle that he doesn’t just sink to the bottom of the pool and drown every time he gets into the water.

Also notice what appears to be casual antisemitism there.

Russia has been grooming Trump via financing his make-believe billionaire status for years. Sooner or later he was going to be set up in some political position be it governor of New York or higher. No one thinks it’s actually Trump’s plan, he’s obviously a puppet. The Russian Miss was just here paving the way for Don

Wow! Incredible video. The brave and calm hostages and the courage and professionalism of the law enforcement officers rushing in to protec the hostages while simultaneously apprehending the murderous asshole.

We weren’t at war with Japan in December of 1941 either. Wars start when one country attacks another, which Russia did to us in 2016. We are at war with them. The corrupt traitorous complicit Republican asshole in Congress just won’t officially declare it.

Maria Butina has NO CHOICE but to defect and may have already done so.

Americans should be angry as hell and demanding Trump be thrown in prison for his extremely obvious treason, but nope. Nope nope nope. Every new thing they find on this woman, there’s always a direct connection to Trump.

There is something about the image of Black woman at her most low and vulnerable point that brings the most rabid and ardent defenders of racism to blame her and the victims on the boat for something that was entirely not their fault. I have read comments from white men, white women and sadly (but not surprising) Black

Better to be a strong swimmer than a non-swimmer in any event.

They were children - in a storm, for a god’s sake. All you can come up with a thinly coded “black people cant swim” argument?? PS - you banned them from pools for a fuckin 100 years, for one thing.

I agree. I am terrified of drowning and being in open water. I am an excellent swimmer and became a certified lifeguard when I was younger. This girl right here isn’t drowning, if I can help it. My kids also are excellent swimmers. Safety first y’all.

Everything about this tragedy is horrific and awful. My heart hurts for Tia and her nephew, and the rest of their extended family. I hope they can hold onto to one another and seek out a ton of counseling, because I imagine the survivor’s guilt they will likely feel will be an enormous burden. Also, I hope the company

Absolutely. I have three kids, the oldest 7 and the youngest 2. I’m an excellent swimmer. The issue is not being able to swim necessarily, it’s swimming and keeping three other little people afloat at the same time even in calm weather. Anyone with kids was automatically at a disadvantage.

The only fools were the captain and the boating company who still allowed business to happen that day. It’s unfair to assume that customers of any kind of tourism or activity like this, know anything about boating. Cause most times they don’t. They put all their trust in the captain to know what’s right.

Most people don’t have experience boating and don’t realize that boats aren’t immune to that type of weather, especially on a lake. It’s not every day that you hear about a large boat sinking in the middle of an American lake. And I’m not sure what you expected them to do once they’d already left the dock and the

This is my nightmare.  And why my kids have each had like 8 years of swimming lessons.

and all three of her children, aged 9, 7 and 1

Except the decline in his vocabulary is something that has been mapped by psychologists using prior interviews going back 30 years. It is only getting worse and is entirely consistent with dementia.

It’s early to mid stage dementia.
