Hell yes.

PICTURED: Our brave first responders on the border just the best bravest guys doing the best they can with what they have.

Exactly. To put it another way: There is no such thing as a $60k 911 or McLaren. That’s why GM can offer the value-to-performance proposition in the first place. Expecting any version of the Corvette to even catch up to a base 911 (on this specific refinement/creature comfort issue) seems like a fool’s errand, from my

I’ll concede that the paint issues are inexcusable. I still don’t get the idea of buying a Chevy, even a Chevy this expensive, and being surprised that it’s a Chevy. The extra money went into making it go faster and perform better, not into making it a different car.

Is the interior of a ~$200k GT3 RS that much better than that of a ~$90k base 911?

Right? The Porsche is at least $50k more, the McLaren is closer to $100K. It’s like when people complain that the CT6 doesn’t have the refinement of an S-Class or 7 Series. Sure, but if it did, why would you pay that extra $30-40k for the Germans??

Now playing

NP all day long and twice on Sunday, and the only thing I have to add is the Mayor of Seattle’s classic ode:

I’m not even saying no oddball suggestions. It’s just that so often the oddball suggestion gets completely phoned in with “a Pike car from Gary Duncan.”

If we can get a moratorium on Tracy recommending Jeep products, can we get a similar one on everyone recommending Pike cars? “Oh, you have a 12-hour commute, five kids, and a pack of dogs but also want something modern and comfortable that can support your jet ski hobby? Have you considered the Pao!?”

THANK YOU.

Someone already posted the correct answer, Sierra Celebration, so I will post the runner up: Pennsylvania Tuxedo.

Sierra Celebration Season and Beaujolais Nouveau Season are the only holidays I recognize.

I just handed the keys back on a rental 2018 with the 3.0 twin-turbo V6. It was a good car! That chassis made a boat of a black car genuinely engaging to drive! And I know people like to bitch about CUE and the “parts bin” interior, but that’s why it cost so much less than the 7 Series (to say nothing of the S-Class).

Hey man this violence against the 80s Quattroporte and Biturbo will not stand, dude.

Oh I like it better with the Shirley Temple but even knowing the name of that drink makes me seem really old, I suppose.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think the Juuling Gen Z crowd cares about IPA. To them, IPA-guzzling Millennial dudes are the old guys.

And they all want Sun Chips!

Fix it again, Tony!

Missing the only Ranchero that matters, the 70-71 Torino Ranchero with the hidden headlights.
