Yeah man, Counting Crows is a good ass band. They've worn well into the last two decades as well, their last two albums have been as good as Recovering The Satellites.
I always really liked that joke in Black Flag's direction on "Cartoon", or at least what I assume was a dig at them. "If you think we'll rise above/you better look around". Pretty on the nose in retrospect, since just about all those SST bands (and SST itself) collapsed right about the time that song came out.

Terrible show. 3 South, however, is an unheralded gem. No Clone High, but it had a pretty high standard.
The art style looks reminiscent of 3 South. For that alone I'll give it a shot.
