These folders on PS5 aren’t accessible from the main screen either. :(

The best part about that gatekeeping thing is that it has zero enforceability on how games can or should be played. Once you take it for what it is: ego-driven noise from random people on the internet, it becomes very easy to ignore!

Seconded. These things are a must if you can do without rumble, NFC, and gyro (which I can for most games). Plus you get a d-pad.

So she’s kinda like Demon’s Souls BP Satsuki now, huh? I’ve never been one-shot so many times only to realize after nearly killing him that he had an unlimited supply of New Moon Grasses all along...

Yep, was gonna say the same thing, and class for paying back those bounties. We all do stupid crap in our earlier years that our older selves cringe at; it’s just that in today’s world, it’s all out there for everyone to pick apart/scrutinize/shame. Good on him for doing the right thing.

That’s a lot of effort to basically say “This isn’t for me; I have esoteric tastes.”

Agreed. I have the gray/blue cloth one and I feel nothing after working from home for 2.5 months now, sitting in it for what feels like 10-12 hours when considering that my PC and consoles are all at this desk. Way better than the HM Aeron it replaced, which is kind of sad when you consider their price points. The

Of course. And I do have one; I just don’t follow personality/celeb/etc. accounts or actively seek out and look at AC content. It’s helped keep me from getting those FOMO feels. Didn’t hit 300 in the fishing tourney, and that’s perfectly OK. :)

Yep, this is where I’m at. I’ve stopped looking (or actively looking) and I haven’t made it a priority to try to amass fortunes quickly or spend hours of my life catching tarantulas, trying to get every recipe, etc. My wife and I just play it for an hour or two each day, contribute money to projects, hang out with

The Hori d-pads are a bit too stiff/vague IMO. The 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ or a modded JoyCon is the way to go. Fingers crossed that the Lite d-pad is better than their Pro Controller offering.

I backed this but haven’t started it yet. Sorry that I scrolled to the bottom of your review just to get the gist of what you thought, and I’m glad that you were left satisfied by the experience. Looking forward to playing it!

I find it slightly bad forethought on the publisher’s part to have not planned at least an English version of this at or near its release date, given Iwata’s popularity outside of Japan. There’s going to be demand to know what is written inside, so whether you want it to or not, translations will start to appear.

I’ll stop when we stop saying “shmup” for shoot-’em-ups. No? Then metroidvania stays.

When I first heard about this, I thought it would be more effort than it was worth, but if you’re even just OK at Tetris, you’ll get the 100 points within an hour or so (less if you’re better). This is a good way to get a lot of people playing while providing a nice little incentive for putting in the effort. I’m just

What game is that 4th icon? Not only is there no text, but I can’t stand the mixed resolution.

I was just wondering the other day if Mitsubishi still sold cars in the US. Never see them anymore, and stopped paying attention after they ended the Evo.

I mean, the obligatory Celeste example comes to mind and how MMG made a very difficult game accessible to a wider audience without having to cut content or “dumb things down” seems to be completely lost on MDHR. I love Cuphead, but the fact that most people I know won’t even try it due to how hard it is seems at least

Game of the Year 2018 for me, tied with Celeste. But let’s not kid ourselves. Anytime VR is mentioned, Astro Bot is too, and it gets plenty of credit.

My fight with Kos ended in a double-KO after many, many tries. I sat there breathless and then... the trophy popped. I was like, “I’m good.” Haven’t fought that jerk again since. LOL

My wife recently went from a smaller curio cabinet to a full-blown china cabinet... so the curio cabinet is now being used for my Lego sets, which works pretty well, but I don’t know if any of my yet-to-be-built Star Wars UCS sets will fit in it. Maybe I need a larger cabinet like her too.
