My level of knowledge is pretty similar to yours, though I’m getting pretty good at electrical stuff after a string of old Audis and my current 10yo Subaru.

I started out a similar way, necessity. I didn’t really have car folks to help me though, so I used walk-throughs from a great old school Audi forum community,

The French did some weird stuff with bicycles too. Anything mechanical and French is decidedly wackier than the way anyone else did it.

Don’t forget that Subaru is a very small company relative to most other makers.

And check out the steelies!

Call it the Supra Celica and let the nomenclature come full circle.

His teeth took a dark turn too.

You talk about the issues with charging and proponents of EVs will say that if electric infrastructure had even a fraction of the ubiquity of gasoline stations, the range and charge level argument would be moot. But, there are two big points in this review that I think really sum up the biggest stumbling block to EVs,

Can we just write the rating and “YMMV” on the window sticker and be done with the controversy?
