Franchises we know in the west are all pretty weird over there. Pizza Hut in Asia is mostly a pasta bar. The menu has 6 pages of different pasta and side and just the last page has pizzas on it. KFC is considered Christmas food as well.

Damn straight. Fuck the appearance-obsessed, Han and Leia’s scenes were quite possibly the best scenes in that movie.

STOP

A handful of years ago I worked for a rather large indie studio who lost out on a large payout due to the economic crash (or so the story goes). Instead of laying people off, they kept telling us the next big contract was in the works and literally just a couple weeks from coming in. For a few months we got paid a

Agree 100%. All manufacturers of electronics shoudl make their packaging temper-evident. Once it’s been opened, it should be obvious. It would also prevent retailers from selling returned (opened) items as new.

It's actually pretty easy to shrink wrap something. I do agree with you in principle, though.

Saw this on Reddit a little while ago with a dick pick on a mirror, a guy bought a new iphone off of ebay or something.. Etc.. trying to find it right now.. another reason why you dont buy your stuff gift wrapped you open it up and look in the box first before you serve it or send it.. i know the kid has a broken

“Damn right I got a licence for this vagina. Got my card right here.”

But we are not supposed to judge others.

When I was young it was power rangers. Original run. We piled our coins morphers blaster knife thingies and gloves in a pile and divided them up. Occasionally we’d get one of the cooler toys in the mix too likje a dragon dagger or the green ranger shield. RP play is great. I hope YoKai and Playmation find their market.

Oh please. We are told what to do with our money everyday by the hundreds of adverts we are exposed to, by the government via taxes and food stamps, and by our partners and family. Judging rich people for poor choices might be unsophisticated in your book, but the preventable death of hundreds of dogs isn’t exactly

And another thing (OT sort of), wouldn’t a dog who was diagnosed with brain tumour and suffering from cardiac arrest be exactly the dog you would not want to clone? For genetic reasons? I know that sounds cold and eugenic but as long as we are cloning here....

I’m a full-time shelter worker*, donate my “extra” cash to four different charities (ASPCA, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, The Wild Animal Sanctuary) on a monthly basis, and frequently use my own money to buy supplies for my job that I am not able to be reimbursed for, and have three

No no, we can't stay home because our income is required now. We must work full time but somehow also cook and clean and run our social lives as well as emotionally care take our permanently adolescent partners.

Yep. If anything, it’s brand interest to attract the eyes. No different from hiring a celebrity to do your hot pocket commercial.

Makes sense now (actual FFXIII screenshot).

My mother, sister, and I spent most of Christmas building this together! Biggest Lego set I’ve ever done. It’s great being a big kid with income!

My lovely wife bought me this vintage Jabba the Hutt play-doh set. Had one of these when I was about 4 or 5 years old and had mentioned it in passing a couple months ago.

I received a Bob Ross paint set, tabletop easel, and some canvas. I am going to paint so many happy little trees.

The key difference between FF4 and FF6 is in the quality of the original sprites. FF4’s sprites and graphics in general were utter garbage compared to FF6’s. And the PSP remaster, which was in the same vein as the FF1+2 remaster, actually improved on the original because they required a re-imagining of the original’s
