I got lucky. I got my PS Vita brand new with MGS 2/3 HD + an 8GB memory card for $100. I walked by the right garage sale at the right time.

This almost happened to me with a doctor’s appointment (which was a follow up to surgery I’d had two weeks prior, and a weird issue where my body was reacting in a freakish and worrisome manner to my stitches, so the doctor really needed to see them). But my first bus was ten minutes late, which meant I missed the

As someone who is at the mercy of the worst bus system ever, New Jersey Transit, I need to call BS on your BS. The bus comes every two hours, is almost always late, and is grotesquely inconvenient. I hate it. But i’m poor, live in Jersey, work in Philly, and don’t have a car. And the worst part of it is, fares have

Resident physician and an attorney can dedicate 5 hours to cooking meals

Heh he thinks 50 or 80 hours a week is a lot. Everyone point and laugh

Yeah, that’d be fine, except that if I’d downloaded the games instead of buying them, I wouldn’t be able to return them. Like, for example, if I discovered that the console won’t stay connected to its own wireless controllers, rendering the games unusable.

It could also be because by paying lower wages, you’re lowering the expectations of what they should be paid.

Character’s name is ANTONIO LOPEZ. Bean is a wonderful actor, but he’s not going to be able to pull off a 6’ 5” Mexican no matter how hard he tries.

He does not want to do this though. .

I’ve produced both pixel and hand drawn art. I think pixel art is slightly easier to pull off if you’re doing it at low resolution, as most retro-styled games do, but it still requires substantial artistic skill and there are challenges inherent to the medium that are different from those found in other forms of art.

F* Konami!

I don’t think it matters to publishers how limited smartphones are when they allow them to make a lot of money while producing games extremely cheaply.

That's what Nightwing for dicks is for.

Look at it this way. In movies, the actors are given royalty bonuses. Do the crew? No. Should they? Probably. But, like in this situation, does that mean the actors shouldn’t until the crew does? The fact that the developers don’t get bonuses is bad, and developers everywhere aren’t paid on a performance basis like

The whole bloody industry needs an overhaul, period, back when Niko’s VA complained about this we all brushed it off, saying he’s being greedy but GTAIV made so much fucking money that it scared Hollywood and forced them to reconsider releasing movies whenever the game came out.

1) That man was working on one of the best selling games of all time and voiced the main character, that’s hardly the normal pay.

2) As other people have said; just because other people are underpaid doesn’t reduce the plight of the voice actors. The idea of “well we’re underpaid so you should be too” is quite clearly

Alex Hutchinson talking about 12 hour days.

All of this excites and worries me, because game dev is already a risky proposition, with razor-thin profit margins for all but the biggest franchises.
