Holy Eff on that Pokemon Crystal card. That’s the only GBC Pokemon game I still have the box for. Most of my Gameboy games are pretty worthless as it’s mostly Pokemon titles and a few shovelware titles I genuinely love (I will fight over Barbie Genie Adventures forever!)

I’ve been collecting them since I was a kid and know a lot about the company and the product’s history. I even have a few dolls from the 60s and 70s.

That show is so good. It’s basically a very meta self-aware show that pokes fun at Barbie and the company’s history.

Last 5 years or so. This one’s actually an update from an earlier body type known as the ‘fashionista’ (which is slightly different than the non-poseable dolls that now have the same Fashionista label). This one is the ‘made to move’ model, or at least a modified version of it.

I will eat my PS2 if there isn’t a Frozen world included. You just *know* they’ll include it.

With Skylanders largely self imploding (I laughed rather hysterically that my local TRU was literally selling individual figures for $.50 a piece as clearance) maybe a remake of the original PSOne games is a real possibility.

Unfortunately, HUD is mega useless at investigating abuses in their programs, and their investigations come down to asking if the person accused of doing anything wrong was doing anything wrong. A program for repairing my mom’s house got cancelled because the county hired contractor complained that my disabled mom

Yup. Artists do it for themselves. Just like engineers work for free. Or accountants. Or people who start restaurants because they’ve dreamed of being a chef all their life. That’s totally why there is no such thing as monetized labor, because simply not wanting to hang yourself with your tie every morning means you

Okay sports fan, get ready for another multi-paragraph rant from another pissed as hell artist who tears their hair out whenever this bullshit happens. My ass is disabled. Which means in spite of my training, education and skills I can’t have one of those mythic ‘real jobs’ that seems so popular with kids these days.

Most likely because he’s one of the people who feels like being douchey. It never fails to astound me how entitled people are when it comes to people’s work. Most art supporters are freaking awesome people who would give their last time in order to support an artist they admire from falling off the edge. Then you have

I like Final Fantasy II.

If you plan on tossing them I sure wouldn’t mind a selection of them. There are still lots of PS2/Wii/PSOne games that I still want to play and have never before. Old to you, new to me.

Congrats Ben! The book looks great. Still want to play Okami, looking into that PS4 HD rerelease

You can come next time! Just travel to Colorado :3

It’s this great little hole in the wall called Nickel a Play. Loads of vintage games that are free or, natch, a nickel to play.

What do you two jokers have on the Kotaku staff that they keep leaving you miscreants in charge?

As someone who has some rather severe petrochemical allergies (and oh my god that shit is everywhere) I’m always on the lookout for nice, not wallet blistering makeup and hygiene products. But Burt’s Bees tends to play pretty fast and loose with what they do or don’t include in their products. Like their chapstick and

I’d be just as happy if they did a graphical update similar to the I,II and IV PSP versions as well. Those games were a great mix of updated features and sprites.

Make no mistake, turkeys are mean little bastards. Tiny, delicious velociraptors. Geese usually attack one on one (usually a Gander protecting a nearby nest or just one in a particularly bad mood. Doesn’t take much to tick a goose off) But Turkeys will attack in packs, and go after animals much larger than themselves.

You just know this guy has at least three wolf shirts.
