Radiant Historia might be up your alley then. The majority of the characters are adults (the main character is actually a spy) and no voice acting. Plays like an SNES title and is GORGEOUS. I haven't played Chrono Trigger myself, but everyone who's played both games has told me RH is CT spiritual successor.

Considering the first Star Ocean came out on the SNES and the first Western Release of a Star Ocean game was on the PS, shouldn't that statement be Mass Effect is the Western Star Ocean?

Can someone please explain this to me?

My god yes. Especially since shepherds are the best breed out there and made of cuddliness.

I know what you mean. I have a rule, especially when it comes to German Shepherds. Dog dies, movie (or in this case, game) ends. I don't care what happens next, I don't to know what's afterward. The dog is gone, I stop caring. German Shepherds cause that's what my dogs were. It's too traumatizing.

Wow. All this talk about next generation hardware and still can't render a German Shepherd properly. I thought the one from Fable was bad. I take this personally as a German Shepherd owner and fan. The face is *okay* but it isn't fluffy enough, it's got a coat like a Doberman and its ears are all weird.

This pleases me.

I got IX as a Christmas present a few years ago and just recently started playing it. And I gotta say, I'm only a few hours in and I'm constantly shocked at how amazing it looks for a PSX game. I mean, it looks better than some PS2 games I've played. Everything is so rich and detailed and the characters are so

I've probably dropped my 3DS 4-5 times by now. The only scratch it has is because I had it bouncing around in my backpack all day one day. I've found it to be made of Nintendonium just as much as anything else.

Hey Luke, will this be an app I could download into my own 3DS or will these only be on DSes that the Louvre provides? Because the article isn't very clear on that. I travel a lot with my games so it'd be cool if this is something I could put on my own game that's a great feature. I know it seems like an obvious

I love my DS. I've gotten more DS games than games for any other system I've ever owned (and am still tracking down a few more games). RPGs, puzzle games, visual novels, point and clicks. All the genres I love.

I am quite thrilled that we're getting Bravely Default, especially after the west got screwed over when it comes to Type O.

Of course. But there's porn of everything. Nuns are meant to represent the highest level of chastity and religious devotion, doesn't mean there aren't nun exotic dancers or slutty nun costumes at Halloween.

She's dressed as a school girl because she *is* a school girl.

I'm a bit confused by your point. Are you arguing that Ronin Warriors is a male power fantasy or a female one? I'll admit the series does look really cool but it doesn't have much to do with our debate.

Sailor Moon is a big one. I think that's one of the reasons she's so popular. She eventually becomes ruler of the world, ends up marrying a hot dude who always showed up in a tuxedo (many women find suits to be as sexy as men find lingerie to be). She always saves to day and beats even the toughest enemy, but does it

I'd say Magical Girl shows are a female power fantasy. They are beautiful, they have nice clothes, and some still have a degree of sexiness to them, but they're still powerful and get the guy.

I'll agree with the majority of the article about except the part that male cosplayers don't get sexually harrassed. Sadly, that part is pretty equalized. Just like pretty cosplayers will get treated like hookers, people will say and do nasty things to male or crossplaying females. Talk to some Loki cosplayers

In my culture it's actually extremely rude to point out someone's unintentional faux pas. It's one thing if someone is acting like a complete ass, but if someone uses the wrong spoon you simply mimic the behavior correctly, without saying anything and see if they notice.

I understand games in Japan tend to be way more expensive than games in the US, but, really? Did no one in their marketing department step back and say this is being highly unrealistic? If they did some special edition PSP game with some cards or something I could understand that even the craziest of fans would bite,
