So Franklin has helped the X-Men on multiple occasions and when Professor X went all Onslaughtly he tried to kidnap the child to steal his powers. So it’s an X-tra dick move for the Prof to tell Franklin “Nah, we won’t help you even though we have Beast and a whole mess of other geneticists.”

I was thinking along these same lines. If Franklin’s not a mutant any more now that his power is gone, then it would follow that _everything_ he’s ever used his power to create (or destroy) might just revert also.
