No, he kept the Segway from Paul Blart. There's no escape.
I'd watch that show.
"It’s a bit of a cheat, but does anyone really want to spend a single minute of this Kevin James show thinking about death?"
Wow. You could see this coming from space, but I'm actually surprised it happened so fast.
That's true. It reads a little strangely, since the kids seemed to view Beth and Jerry's marriage as something bound to fail for the first two seasons (I think Summer explicitly hoped for it at one point). But, as you said, they're kids. Emotions don't always make sense.
I kind of found that to be a weird read on the situation from Morty, especially as he seems to have come to the realization that Rick is toxic (though he seems to have just accepted that as a fact, rather than something to fight against). There's a ton of issues that fed into Beth and Jerry's divorce, but the straw…
Two things. I think she's smarter and more capable than he is generally, and then his insecurities magnify the problem.
I don't know about "better" necessarily, but I'd say that Beth is significantly more messed up. Most of Jerry's issues stem from Beth being way too good for him, but Beth's issues are mostly rooted in Rick, and there's a lot to unpack there.
The way I look at it, Jerry's life can only get better at this point. And hey, maybe he's on his way. Sucks to lose a woman way out of your league, but Beth and Jerry were a prime example of how divorce, to paraphrase a Louie CK bit, is always a good thing.
I mostly just got "sad-sack" from him.
See, everyone ends up in a more emotionally healthy place, and all it took was brutal murder after brutal murder.
I'll keep that in mind, but I have no desire to revisit it. Life's too short, and I didn't enjoy any of it. If someone else did I can respect their opinion, but it just wasn't for me.
Wow. I can't decide whether the fact that he's got about 2 months before he gets shitcanned makes it better or worse. Good for his wife for getting herself and the kid away though.
Hostel is the only movie I can think of at the moment where I decided "Nope, I'm fucking done with this" midway through. Usually if I'm that far into a movie I'll see it through, just for the sake of finishing it, but not that time.
Agree with you there.
As much as I love the idea of him having a rally and no one showing up, ignoring him isn't a viable answer. I'm still convinced that part of the reason he's president is that a large number of people didn't take him seriously as a threat until it was too late.
Seriously. The carpet in here….
Their particular brand of humor is less "current events" and more "racist/sexist/homophobic jokes" with the occasional mocking of the differently abled.
"The comedy writers also expressed frustration with their cousins in the mainstream media, who often seem too eager to indulge in Trump’s sideshow sensationalism, rather than actual coverage of government actions."
