I grew up in the town where Sierra On-Line was based, and I've frequently lamented the dissolution of the company over the years. At the same time, I've been stoked to see all these Kickstarter projects from ex-developers pop up. Heck, the lead developers' kid for this project was in my graduating high school class.

Honestly, I just feel really sorry for whoever made this mistake.

Oh, New York. You and all your awesome editorial opportunities.

Golly, the videos for Kickstarter are always so cheesy.

Considering the main Kixeye ad I've seen here on buses in San Francisco is a bad insanity wolf meme, the claims of racism jokes seem pretty believable to me.

I'm actually going to be posting my own fairly exhaustive review tonight, but the best praise I can give the game in a nutshell, is this: It made me break my, "No MMOs" rule - and I'm glad.

My roommate spent a good few hours on the flash version of this. Sadly, we have no mac-based apparatus to nab a mobile version.

I had been resisting the temptation of buying this (going with my 'no more MMOs' rule), but one of my friends just announced he would be getting this for me, for my birthday.

Nice - congratulations on the move, sir, and an entertaining write-up as usual.

As someone who has just recently dove into the sea of making gifs, I am impressed by your giffing capability.

That is just plain depressing. It's a bad solution for so many reasons - which Diablo III is proving right now - and that's something that developers should take note of.

Well, at least we won't have to worry about D4 for another 10+ years.

This is exactly the point and problem, and completely evident with a large amount of changes in each patch.

See, one of the main problems with Diablo III right now, is that they're not balancing it for the legitimate gamers; they're balancing it in reaction to all the scammers, farmers, bots, and exploiters.

I probably regret the 100 hours or so I spent on Diablo III over the past month. That's something I'm trying to figure out right now.

Nice. Yeah, really good drops definitely reinvigorate the urge to play, that's for sure.

Interesting build, I'll check it out if I start up again.

Yeah, I've pretty much called it quits for now. Act I was really a breeze for me on Inferno, but Act II with the new repair costs is just altogether too frustrating.

And you are clearly a lovely person.

Sounds like good advice! I've been playing as a DH, and I push out a lot of damage, but I get swatted like a fly on a regular basis.
