Nice, I always heard the Manga was superior, but for some reason always preferred to follow the show, even when Studio Pierrot's animation would go downhill and have horrible filler arcs.

Man, it has been AGES since I've watched Naruto, but I would have been so stoked for these games back in the day. Got part way through Shipuuden when it first started airing a few years ago, but gave up after a hundred episodes or so, thanks to all the filler and the extreme spikes in crappy animation.

I find it difficult to bond with a character that breaks me out of the immersion, and a ridiculously hideous character tends to do just that (for me).

Yeah, that's the thing with a lot of the really complex character creation tools - it's a bitch to create someone that doesn't look boring and generic, but also doesn't look bizarre or malformed.

That's happened to me so many times. Plenty in Oblivion in particular.
