Hi. I was sexually assaulted for five minutes in a public place. I was so terrified (and afraid of being blamed for being in said place) that I didn’t scream or run. I froze. Thanks for assuming you know the “right” reaction for an assault victim to have, though.

What’s funny is that people are so convinced that being an actor is a special talent that no one else but the rarefied few can do. As if “losing” Kevin Spacey would be some sort of impactful event. But it wouldn’t!

Uhm...often when someone is being assaulted, they fucking freeze. What is with the victim blaming here...

And it’s also gilded, not somehow carved out of a piano-sized block of gold.  For those not up on their gilding facts, small sheets of gold that are a couple of thousands of an inch thick are glued onto a background.  It looks impressive, but doesn’t take a lot of gold.

My favourite is the Bill Nighy one (the sole love story based on friendship), but of the romantic stories I agree Rickman and Thompson’s is the best, partially because those two are superlative actors.

Unfortunately, Richard Curtis has confirmed the Wisconsin thing actually wasn’t supposed to be a joke; he just had no idea what the state’s reputation is and picked it at random.

Apparently Natalie’s actress really was getting a ton of inexplicable fat shaming by the media at the time which Curtis was baffled by, so this was his attempt at showing how ridiculous it was, except he made the mistake of never actually making it clear the fat-shaming was supposed to be a joke.

That’s my biggest problem with it too. It’s super disgusting and distracting. I can’t believe it isn’t brought up as much. That shit alone makes me hate that movie.

My wife and I both like Love, Actually and watch it every year during the holidays. Watched it again last weekend, actually.

God, I love Bill Nighy so much in this movie. 

I should probably elaborate that “wild” can be a good thing to me. If I were 8 years old and saw her in real life, I would be awestruck! To look like the bougie-est doll in the entire American Doll collection is the height of class, to me.

Now I know what the look is I’m going for... American Girl doll. I love Kate’s outfit. Meghan’s i lovely as well but I’m not effortless enough to pull that off. I’m just as extra as Kate looks in this picture.

I’m not inclined to believe the manufactured bullshit of the tabloids. Meghan seems like a genuinely nice person, and I don’t trust the stories from unnamed sources “close to the royal family” or whatever who claim that there are these big blowouts.

I clicked on this article because the Duchess of Cambridge is dressed exactly like the American Girl Doll Samantha, and that seemed absolutely wild to me.
