I mean these kind of complaints are so petty when women have to worry about being assaulted and harassed every single day of their lives. If you want to look for a date, there’s places in the world where people are looking for dates. It’s 2018 for god’s sake. Join Tinder. Go to a speed dating place. And try to have

I think you’re saying way more about yourself here than society

Yeah, but it goes a lot farther. A pound of coffee is what, 30-some cups? A teaspoon of Oolong leaves in a little brewing pot is good for three good big mugs, which the math shows is mumbletyfuck servings to a pound, where mumbletyfuck is a number much greater than 30.

Good tea is not cheap in the least! Lipton, Tetley, Celestial Seasonings, and other trash tea is cheap. High quality, loose leaf tea is generally $25+ per pound, making it similar in price, if not more expensive, than high quality coffee.

OMG.  I need to add her podcast to my list.  She’s been great as a guest on all the other podcasts I’ve heard her on, so I’m sure her podcast is awesome.  I just love her so much.  The way she laughs reminds me of my sister.

Made ya look. Mine’s Die Hard.

Nailed It! is awesome and fun and worth watching. And it is very much laughing with them, not at them. Everyone seems to be having a great time on the show, even when they fail miserably. Nicole Byer is hilarious.

How about, get with the 80 years ago! Is everyone here familiar with The Group (1966)? Based on Mary McCarthy’s roman a clef about her circle of friends who’d met at Vassar in the 1930s. Candice Bergen plays the lead; the lesbian whose life turns out actually better than the rest.

Is there any reason you felt it necessary to mention the shape of her ass?

She... Didn't say that?

Also Lauren, using the one image that Amanda Bynes had issues with that sent her into a body dysphoric shame spiral seems a little unnecessarily cruel, no?

And yet it’s like you still understood what she meant.

Re: Rebecca/Darryl kiss

I actually found that song really overrated. It made me long for the times that songs forwarded the story instead of stopping them dead.

I loved this episode, laughed and cackled throughout. My favorite things were Paula’s wig in the early era Beach Boys and Nathaniel’s hair in the psychedelic era. Don’t know why, but I couldn’t stop staring at either of them in those scenes.

I loved the gag of Josh going to pick up the desk, and rather than it being a false bumbling unearned confidence, the gag was just alarming strength and stability.

I really liked the song number, and the meta gag of the ride and song going so long that it goes through multiple styles of the Beach Boys’ collective career.

I gotta tell you, this is the first episode in a long time that I thoroughly enjoyed from top-to-bottom. Season 1 levels of enjoyment. Its been quite awhile since I actually laughed out loud at an (American) TV show. Dolgen always (as near as I can recall) does good scripts.

Santino Fontana and Vincent Rodriguez III are both 36, but Fontana definitely looks older.

I had conveniently forgotten about the time this show put Vinny Rodriguez in bizarre prosthetics to play this other character with the atrocious accent, but once again, here we are ...
