Nah y’all the REAL problem with gaming is a multi-faceted issue across various contexts and industrial standards, market trends and uncomfortable truths that has no easy way to be summed up in a paragraph, no clear group of individuals wholly at fault, and no clean or neat solution.

Ummmm, you may want to sit down for this...

All I can say here is thank you. Thank you for the headline of this article beginning with “Despite my skepticism.” I have no trouble believing Before the Storm is a fine game, but it was driving me nuts how most reviews or other articles I saw regarding it on the web didn’t even seem to think about, much less

What the fans think - *endless theory about Ultimecia’s backstory, intertwined with perceived deep symbolism about life, the soul, and existentialist meaning

Well the protagonist’s name is Nikki

That’d be more Neutral Evil because it’s wanting to change the laws to be more evil. Lawful Evil is usually more about causing harm to people as much as possible while trying to seem like a good citizen.

I went into this show willfully defiant of the negative reactions I leafed through in this article without spoiling myself and, uh....

This has always felt obvious to me that Joss Whedon was one of those people who exploits feminism for his own personal gain, as opposed to actually being feminist.

Infrastructure would at worst collapse back to like early 1900s, late 1800s. People would be quick to form small governments, assuming the big government didn’t survive.

How does Pearl not look badass? She’s got a sleek sleeveless dress that looks like she could do ninja shit in it, fingerless gloves, and a crown styled to match her hair-tentacles. She also jams the shit out of some rap as much as can be done in their squid language.

I can’t star this enough. There is NOTHING wrong with Pearl. Only people who can only value a female character based on their level of sexual attraction to them.

Saw it too, was immediately surprised to see him there. Thought he’d gone memetic before I saw the Inkling’s name was, in fact, Fahey.

I think the difference is people are still playing it every day, they’re just not screaming about it from the rooftops or asking everyone they know what team they are. It’s gone from “Hey everyone, we all need to go out and play some Pokemon Go” to “Better hit my pokestops on the way to the gym today.”

It’s hard to capture people interacting with one another over a phone game in a still picture. The meetups for these places get very social, actually. I’m not super comfy with strangers, but I’ve had people I don’t know just start conversations on multiple occasions. It’s a common ground point for people.

Where’s our Borderlands? Literally the best game they may have ever made (though I’m a sucker for Monkey Island)

Comic is funny but seriously, as near as I can tell they’re the same height.

Thank you! So glad I’m not the only one saying this!

Or people calm down with the waifu crap and just let them have characters whether people creepily obsess over them or not.

How are people drawing so well? I spent five minutes trying to just write something rude about the quality of cake before I gave up. I know you can draw on the switch itself like a tablet but from what I was trying, it’s like a phone and you need a special stylus for it?

For what it’s worth, even when Penny Arcade doesn’t make me laugh, it always makes me smile
