I can definitely say, without spoiling anything that if you’re playing Akira as his own entity and doing what you think he’d do in a scenario, while Kawakami seems on paper like a good choice, when you’re in the moment it just doesn’t feel right.…

I think that speaks MORE to their lack of malicious intent than anything, if mid attack they had the ability to go “Woahh, this isn’t a seal. Woah. Sorry guy.” Since I mean... compare that with the same situation with a shark....

It’s worth noting that there’s nothing ‘implied’ about Kawakami’s occupation. Someone outright calls her a sex-worker and her response is “how did you find out?”
