I’d watch a team fortress movie

I was actually thinking that that part was infinitely more stressful. Then again, Dark Corners is an odd example. because by the end of the game they arguably gave you TOO much power. When I’ve exploded the face off of 3 eldritch horrors, they really start to lose their fear factor.

I started reading this disagreeing completely but the more I read, the more I thought about Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Everyone raved about an absolutely nightmarish sequence where fishmen are chasing you through a hotel and how scary it is...

Keep in mind, just because the second half is linear doesn’t mean “you literally walk down a line.” Most Final Fantasies have been, for the most part, linear, but you still had the ability to explore and do sidequests.
