I am an American, and I ask myself the same question. Beyond trucks (which I don’t have a need for, right now), there are only a handful of American-brand cars that interest me.

It personally think that the Saab was the best looking version of that platform (GMT 360), and having an LS2 option also helped, even if the car was not really a true “Saab.” That said, I personally never found that platform too desirable, and it was a pretty expensive suv when it was new.
