60% of the weight reduction come from removing the spare tire donut and replacing it with a tire patch kit. That’s not really impressive nor practical for a what is still an econobox racer that you’ll drive everyday. (I have one).

Can we PLEASE stop pretending that the decision to remove “grid girls” had anything to do with gender equality? This was a monetary decision plain and simple. If the grid girls were tied to $XX millions then this issue would not have even made it to the table.

I have taken in leases on 2016 Silverados with 45k and not a single squeak or rattle, They are paying attention to NVH now like never before.  

I did 80+ miles/day for almost a year in my Colorado (different, yes, but you get the idea and I also have those under-the-back-seat (UTBS) storage cubbies) and I don’t have any N&V troubles. The backseat seatbacks (type that 5 times fast) fold down, too. No clicking, clunking, or buzzing from those guys, either.

You sir, you get a star. I have about the same commute in a work-spec 2012 1500.
