I grew up in a house built in the 1960s, and taking advantage of the attic was key to keeping things cool. On really hot days, my dad would actually open the built-in ladder/stairs to the attic and set the fan up there to maximum. It made a massive difference.

They have products specifically to help your credit, their interest rates are better than whoever is mailing you credit…

I have seen this before in the US, but it has been a very long time. IIRC it was an intermediate step when a cash-only chain started accepting debit cards before accepting them “normally.”
