Ha! I have these wheels on 2nd Gen Dodge  Cummins 4×4work truck. ...they are not even real bead locks ( or as “real “ fake ones you can get). They actually are drilled holes. I have thought of ways to cover them, but my best option would be to go back in time to the guy making them and telling him “stop!”when he gets

Hey......My 2nd-Gen Dodge Cummins 4×4 came with that style of wheels when I bought, and they kinda grew on me (Have Nitto Trial Grapplers tires (aggressive tread but are Load E rated for when I tow). ...*PLUS* the wheels earned my repsect this month when a hit&run driver decided to turn in front of me and I impacted

Wish I could give you more stars! I drive 2nd Gen Cummins 4x4 Dodge Rams and even with all the engine noise they make, my ears will raise to the most minimal/irregular noise and inspect if needed. Not paranoid, just cautious. Stay Safe out the there.

Oh COOL! I can bring one of my flooded (Got all three dry & operating now) manual, diesel rides to this awsome event.

Well said Sir,

Much respect to you Sir! That response to their pathetic excuse is Gold. I am a very calm person, but I rarely put up with stupidity (especially in Nation/ State Parks). They find out what “When keeping it real goes wrong” real quick. Safe Travels!

I was out last night guiding some family out to Galveston when it really hit. I looked at the weather maps and they had an hour window before it was going to get even worse. I even assisted a worried Metro bus driver on an option back to Interstate 59.

Much Repsect! My thoughts exactly, I once saw a group looking  under the hood of a 2nd Gen at a CVS. Saw them trying to start it and it would turn & turn. I asked questions on what happen and what had they attempted so far. I told them to turn the engine for a sec. & see if they could hear the lift pump run, and

Hey thanks, I’ll save that email... You’re not a robot right LOL...

All Good points! For many the 2wd is perfect and for some 4wd is a must. You have to $Pay$ to Play.

“She’ll probably kill me next week.”

You are correct! The 24 valve switched to a different injection pump which was very sensitive to fuel pressure and could run without the lfit pump functioning, which would eventually turn into an expensive job. It is expensive, but compared to the newer generation$$.. Fo Get About It!!

UTman is on point! I’m no expert, but been around these kinda trucks since the 12 valve version. You can spend hours researching just like any other vehicle. Adding to what great advice being given:

Yeah...It starts with the desire for one.....My Loving wife accepts my Passion. Congrats on your new addition!!

I have 3 trucks with two different shift patterns/gears (5 & 6 spd) for reverse & final gear, that’s complicated enough, thank you very much...

I went through this when assisting my sister between the NX200T vs Rav4. Here are the key things I noticed when shopping both.

Oh, David T., just come to the “Dark Side” Already, the waters perfect! LOL

Can related, in the last two years my family’s 2001 Isuzu Trooper & 2003 Toyota Tacoma, both bought brand new and taken care very well, were total losses because of some irresponsible person not paying attention thus causes us problems. The best part is the insurances are giving use pennies and have left us in a

When I was little, my Dad would visit a shade tree mechanic for A/C repiars on his 1980 Mazda 626 in Glaveston, Texas. Everything that mechanic owned was covered in grease and oil. White (yellow/ beige for that time period) appliances were unrecognizable. I think the wood at that house is still original, no termite
