This looks so similar to "Vinyl" that I'm kind of shocked HBO ordered it to series. I'm sure there will be major differences but stylistically it looks in the same wheelhouse.

I found the "offensive humor" remark a little out of touch. Like, the reviewer suddenly realized this show bathes in politically incorrect humor six seasons in.

Any source to back this up?

Very strange. Miller is getting more famous these days but I wouldn't be shocked if HBO or Judge had a falling out with him and forced him out. He's always come across as a "strong personality" to put it lightly. I ran into him drunk after a comedy show and he was screaming and slamming a pay phone as hard as he could

Why do people act like Reddit is as horrible as 4chan? Reddit has thousands of subreddits with active communities. I highly doubt r/Aquariums is posting racist troll garbage. It seems like most of the ire Reddit receives should be directed at 4chan and its hellish boards.

Her career is pretty much over, right? Clinton campaign aides apparently got into huge arguments over letting Dunham speak at events and she doesn't even seem to have fans including those who watched "Girls". As an example of how hated she is, I feel like every person I know that likes "Girls" has to clarify they

A lot of people don't realize McBride went to film school and is a major movie nerd. He even has admitted he always intended to be behind the camera and just kind of fell into comedic acting on accident.

This was the most echoed complaint about "Prometheus" but haven't all these "Alien" movies and horror films generally had stupid people making stupid decisions? It always struck me as a petty argument in regards to "Prometheus". The whole "don't go in there!" has been a popular horror trope for decades.

I think Conan is just tired and ready to leave late night soon.

Anthony mentioned a lot of Trump fans have told him how much they enjoy his impression at the Trump/Bernie shows so I'm not sure how many actually are turned off by it.

Can't forget how Baldwin couldn't resist making a homophobic "you're gay!" joke to James Adomian over the Twitter feud.

We are living in a time with a lot of "Eastbound and Down" rip offs. Look at "Brockmire"

What a waste of Fincher's talent. Why is Brad Pitt so fixated on getting this sequel greenlit? If it's posing that much of an issue to get a green light, just move on to another movie. It's not like many people liked the original.

I never read Buffalo Bill as a "transphobic" character. Dude was just a psychopath that wanted to wear female skin. I never remember them making a big deal out of his gender identity.

Wow. I had no idea "Girls" did that poorly in overnight ratings. Not surprised though. HBO doesn't care about ratings unless they're accompanied by bad buzz or no interest online.

Oprah gave us Dr Phil and Dr Oz. No fucking thank you.

Does Baldwin call anyone a gay slur in this book?

I thought Oswalt's book was a good read. Maybe cause I related to his stories of being a film nerd teen.

I never read "Yes, Please" and this is the first I've heard it was bad. Care to elaborate on what made it shitty? For some reason I thought people raved about it when it came out but maybe I'm thinking of "Bossypants"

I've read that. Doesn't seem to quite check out other than her being a disgruntled ex. And she didn't have much to do with the creation of it, she was just an actor.
