HOT TAKE AHEAD:

but he thinks the whole world is against him and has rights he doesn’t have”

The important question about Killjoys is...

Yep. People have been asking me and I keep telling them that it’s as good as the original.

“Shultz claimed that ‘It was shocking, I didn’t expect to open the book and see that graphic material within. I expected Batman and Robin, not pornography.’”

Being from the town where this college is I can tell you that's it's a community college and this combined with the time of year and the fact that her parents are involved makes me think it's a high school student taking a summer course.

I was initially surprised by the number of comments posted here that espoused hatred for the movie. Then I realized this is probably the entire population of haters, and literally every other person in the world is just sitting in a happy pink dinosaur-related bubble going “eeeeeeeeeee!” The box office bears my theory

(running in the jungle with high heels, what the fucking fuck)

Actually, most of you do. The few of you who don’t perplex me because I don’t understand why you keep watching and voting for crazy opinions you claim not to agree with.

Seriously? Uneducated individuals should help inform what and how they are educated? Isn’t that the purpose of education? Educated individuals helping inform the uneducated?

People do still think that; I’ve had people say that they are less challenging than text based material, and as someone who works with graphic novels, I pointed out that they can be much MORE challenging, in content and format than text based material. The Japanese and Europeans have been aware of this for years.

“I don’t want them taught anymore. I don’t want anyone else to have to read this garbage.”

There is something truly evil about book banning. It’s selfish, controlling and obscene as far as I’m concerned. It’s the battlefield of small minded pearl clutchers who should be soundly ignored instead of catered to. If you don’t like a book? Don’t read it. Don’t you dare try and remove it from others to read.

My favorite example; John Wayne as Genghis Kahn.

I think he may be overestimating the anticipation.

Maybe they should re-imagine it by putting the actual movies on dvd / blu-ray.

More insane than a noble Macbeth trading his youth to a nocturnal flying creature made of stone?

I can’t help but think that the angry folks criticizing ESPN for giving Jenner the Arthur Ashe Award are the same ones who would have criticized ESPN for naming an award after Arthus Ashe in the first place.

Feminism: the strange idea that women should be treated like human beings, just like men.
