“So now you have a twentieth-century-type of house Negro. A twentieth-century Uncle Tom. He’s just as much an Uncle Tom today as Uncle Tom was 100 and 200 years ago. Only he’s a modern Uncle Tom. That Uncle Tom wore a handkerchief around his head. This Uncle Tom wears a top hat. He’s sharp. He dresses just like you

Someone on Twitter called her David Duke’s maid and that’s how I’m referring to her from now on.

I’ve been so heartened reading your recent articles about Bioware because I feel like it may spark a serious critical examination of the live-service model over at EA. I also hope it inspires them to change their process to one that doesn’t create/contribute to the emotional distress of its employees.

Maybe the DA leads will round up all the negative reactions to the idea of DA4 as a live service game, put them into a PowerPoint presentation, and use it as leverage to get EA to back off. :)

“Did EA’s executives really care about narrative? Did they really care about RPGs?”

Every time I see an article from Jason, I rub my hands together and whisper:

All I know is that they’re talking about spinning up a new Mass Effect game - I think they’ve been pretty public with hints about that, too.

Jason, honey, you’re blowing us away with these back to back insider reports. Never stop snooping in these times of turbulence for the better.

I was just talking to my friends this morning about how unfortunate it is that his passing isnt getting hardly any coverage.

Does the Rock even play parts where he kills innocent people now? He’s always the hero.

SHAZAM 2: SHAZAMMER

Because it offers almost no benefit over Steam, Blizz-store, Uplay, Origin?

I am looking forward to seeing The Rock give Zachary Levi The People’s Elbow.

Oooh, that’s a conspiracy theory I hadn’t heard before. I don’t think it holds water (there’s no direct connection between “media outlets” and “Google” that would determine editorial content), but I appreciate the additional scuttlebutt that taps into the simultaneous fears of Big Google and Mainstream Media. Makes me

Game developers getting 18% more of your money is a huge benefit to the customer: The game developer can invest more in the games you love, and has less incentive to depend on trashy DLC models.

More so with how unsecure Epic accounts can get. I am glad my account didnt get penetrated by a hack but I know so many friends who say some hacker bought items on their account. Valve may also have hackers and even scammers rampant but not to an extent Epic has. Also you could deal with it in general.

I think you may be forgetting the biggest reason that people are angry: Media outlets have hyped up the Epic Store drama repeatedly, and many of those media outlets are backed by a company that’s royally ticked at Epic: Google.

There is zero benefit to the customer when Epic nabs an exclusive for themselves, and several tangible negatives. It’s pretty straightforward to understand, and so thank you for this breakdown.

I offer to fix it for China.
