My daughter had a good time

I went to a later 10:45PM showing, so there wasn’t that much cosplaying at my theater although I did see a Rebel pilot. However, there was probably thousands of dollars’ worth of Star Wars merchandise in the lobby alone.

Yeah, the “tempted by the light side” moment was perfect. And yeah, I’d love to know how he turned towards the dark, and how Snoke got his hooks into him.

Poe was bad-ass. That scene flying over Finn’s head and shooting down like 10 TIE fighters in one pass was epic. Plus, I loved his emotional attachment to BB-8. We all love the droids, but no one in the movies has ever showed their love for a droid.

Kylo Ren is a much more conflicted bad guy than I anticipated. He’s like on his way to the dark side but isn’t fully there yet. Funny to hear him say he’s “tempted” by the light. Wonder what made him want to join the Dark Side.

I was incredibly happy with Han Solo. I was worried that Harrison Ford would just be playing…

I think my fave humor moment was Han nodding to behind Finn and Finn was like “What? What’s this? *makes chin movement* Why are you doing that?”

Given how Anakin’s/Luke’s lightsaber called to her, she just has to be Luke’s daughter. I’m interested to find out who the mother is, and what happened to her. Also killed by Kylo Ren?

So Rey: Luke’s daughter? It seems obvious, but who else could she be related to. They made it obvious that she has force parentage.

So, that was a fun movie! And funny, too.
