This is what i came to post. Seriously, this should be one of the top things. I’ve owned my Sierra 1500 for 3 years now. Guess how many times i’ve use any portion of the stock GM entertainment functions? Exactly zero. Not the radio. Not the navigation. Not the pre-installed apps. Nothing. I plug my phone in, Carplay

I know a surprising number of people who pay to subscribe to it.

Auto stop/start. From what I can tell it really doesn’t impact overall fuel economy that much and just makes for jerky starts at stoplights and stop and go traffic. It’s an automatic motion for me now to turn it off when I start the car.

Love my backup camera. More visibility is always better. It allows me to back up further than I felt comfortable doing before and if I pull through a parking spot, throwing it into reverse lets me see if I pulled through too far or not enough!

Bigger wheels as a premium option. Why? 18" standard is already too large - why the hell would you want even more rim and less tire? Ruin ride quality AND pay more for tires over time.

Most cares are better with an automatic. In traffic, towing, commuting. MOST day to day activity does not need you to be fully connected with the car. you just need to get somewhere. Manuals are cool, but they are worse in almost every way compared to a modern automatic.

Some driving nannys are good, but some are stupid. Lane keep assist, especially when deployed on roads with curves, sucks balls. Yes car, I know I’m touching the right solid white line. Yes, I know what I’m doing on this tight curve. No, I do not need you beeping at me.

Reversing cameras and parking sensors, are they overrated?

Power lift gates.

In my ‘15 Durango, I’d say the least used function are the paddle shifters.  I’ve used them in the mountains to better maintain cruising speeds, but for the majority of my driving in the Midwest they’re pointless.

Uh-huh, it’s one thing to appear in a horror flick—not unlike all the extras populating a scene—but it’s quite another to be the star car:

$2K for a family hauler in this market? NP all damn day.

Shit car, but $2000 for something that runs and that is relatively clean is an automatic NP.

That’s a steal, they’re asking for Thai currency. You know: Phuket Money

It is a NP of course. $2K in this batshit market. Buy and drive it till the wheels fall off .

Look, in this market any running, driving car at $2000 is a nice price.

For sure Do Not Want, but this is a damn Nice Price for what it is and for someone looking for a grocery-n-kids hauler. The mileage doesn’t bother me and it looks better and cleaner than it should.

Sorry Hertz, I’m a stripper Corolla man for life!!!!

Nobody is getting paid properly and hasn’t been for decades. The private sector was also supposed to make sure they always had people working. But they’ve found that producing and delivering just enough for the people in our society willing to pay extra, while also destroying their workforce, will work out.

Hire Truckers? There isn’t a driver shortage because they can’t get around to hiring them, there’s a driver shortage because it pays shit money, it’s a really tough/dirty job, and no one wants to do it.
