ALL of these automated systems, every single one in every market and industry, rely on two things: nothing ever, EVER goes wrong and if when it does, there is a competent person whose job is to make it right.

Fun to drive
Stylish
Easily fits a 6'6" person
Manual transmission
What this guy needs is a Shelby Mustang GT350R. On the used marked they’re currently going for around $80-$90k and will appreciate.

6'6" in a Mazda Cosmo and the guy wants to be comfortable. Please stop.

This aligns with my general advice - go German. If you are a giant buy a car from a nation of giants.

I think David Tracy missed the part about the person being 6'6". There’s *no way* someone that size will fit in a Cosmo.

Audi R8

Edd China is 6' 7", and he fits, so it looks like an Isetta is in order.

My JK wrangler with the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty seems like something that I could keep forever. I have loved it for 9 years already as my off road toy, overlander, daily driver.

Mine is my Toyota MR2. Owned it now 16 years. Never going to let go.

Possibly premature, because we don’t know how reliable it will be, but I’m kind of obsessed with the Maverick–and I’ve never seriously considered a pickup before. Just fit it with a tonneau cover or a cap, and make sure it has those steelies. Or just give me the steelies and I’ll hang them on my wall.

Should be a hatch.

Dodge Omni GLHS. Yeah, I’m old but I remember.

Leaving this here.

I briefly had a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L V6 sedan in Basque Red that my wife said looked like a grandpa car (and it previously was a grandpa car actually), but it didn’t drive like one. 0-60 in about 6.4 seconds. Unfortunately 8 months into ownership I was rear-ended and it was totaled. Looked like this:

The first generation Maserati Quattroporter sure doesn’t look like it’s the super sedan of its generation. Who could guess that this stately, even awkward at some angles, four door was a 140mph V8 missile?

GMC Syclone! Even with plastic cladding and menacing red scratch graphics, it still looks like a small boxy pickup.

Saw a very nice one at a CnC last weekend. There was a small Holden row there together with a couple of Chevy SSs.

I loved the engine sound on these - I still see a few around in good shape.

Volvo V70R seems like it’s gotta be on this list, especially if it’s first-generation (could also expand this entry to include the pre-1997 850 T-5R’s). Holds that old boxy Swedish look (plus, Jalop sensibilities notwithstanding, it’s a friggin’ wagon), with a 0-60 time under 7 seconds even in the late ‘90s.
A ~250hp

Volvo XC40 P8 Recharge.
