New series of Strike starts tomorrow!
Even Jar-Jar has a new show . Where’s Jake Lloyd’s and Hayden Christensen’s apology projects?
No New Mutants review? Whatever will we do?
Ooh yes , he’d be awesome. Probably a few more Wire alums would fit in.
I think it’s do-able. A truly great cast of character actors would be required , unlike the 2011 abortion with Ramona Flowers and whoever else was in that movie. Walton Goggins & Michael Shannon (as someone else says here) would be great and i’d like to add Michael Rooker to the dream Thing cast.
She was good in Edtv , Rob Reiner was too. It’s a fun time at the movies.
Will we be getting regular episode reviews for the one watchable show left on tv?
Dunno about this series but I’m thinking seriously about a Smallville rewatch.
Looks great! Hope they fix Superman’s face.
First do no harm. Anyone taking a knife to a healthy child needs imprisoning.
I really hate it in Spielberg movies where a main character is doing something (like leaning on a triceratops ) and we cut to another character smiling indulgently with beatific kindness , it just makes me cringe.
Have they talked about fixing Superman’s face? That and the shitty cgi villain were the only things I didn’t like about the movie.
Ugh , slide into obscurity already.
I’m 6'3 , ex army and Don scared me to death! The only other performance like that I can think of is Paddy Considine in Dead Man’s shoes :
Interesting commentary track for this movie with Sir Ben and the Director . The movie was described pithily as : “The happiest man in the World is visited by the unhappiest man in the World.” . Or something like that.
I don’t see cinemas closing as being a big deal. There are other avenues of delivery for movies so we’ll be fine. Theatre on the other hand is truly fucked , possibly for a very long time.
Great article Gwen! I enjoyed it a lot.
A great interview , I really learned a lot about this movie. Is it about a stupid self help book?
I was looking forward to this show but found it dense and not exciting , with non likeable characters.
