You Americans are lucky , in other countries we’re not allowed to defend ourselves . We have to use household implements like Amish farmers! This guy would look less threatening with a rolling pin. 

The idea that polls can tell us anything at all in these times is hilarious. The silent majority have long learned to be cautious with their opinions and that caution has turned to paranoia in the face of “cancel culture” . I see Trump winning by a landslide. 

The source material was good enough to make one of the most successful musicals of all time , no reason why a movie adaptation shouldn’t succeed on some level . The fact that it didn’t raises questions and fingers get pointed. 

I wonder if American viewers need subtitles for that film , it features some quite heavy dialect. That’s a great version of Try a little Tenderness but I recently saw a vid of Otis singing that song , it’s really something else.

I know that I just re-watched Bugsy Malone , what a crazy fun musical it is , the song Bad Guys fucking slaps (in the parlance of our times)

What happened to the xmen movies? They were going great until Apocalypse ruined everything and Dark Phoenix hammered the last nails in. 

I still don’t really understand this show . I don’t get Forrest’s motivations or if the people in his life know what he’s doing. The divorce episode was too painful.

For me , the biggest problem in the film is the bad guy . Marvel showed us a full cgi villain is doable but it takes a special effort and a no doubt staggering budget to do so effectively . The voice didn’t help either , I just kept thinking how much better the actor doing the voice ( Ciarán Hinds. ) could portray…

I’m a dog person but my fave twitter and IG dog feeds are often replete with pics of baby humans cuddling pitbulls etc . Not good.

I can’t stand it. The worst ones are where the child is filmed reacting to a genuine life event . Big displays of emotion are carefully captured and shared with the world. I’m like , didn’t you go to school? Do you think this’ll help? Imagine the future resentment these kids are gonna have.
