It wasn’t really about Beto knowing better. It was a crack about how Trump literally said he’d take guns and worry about the law later, yet the GOP and NRA just looked away and whistled. Showing for the billionth time there is nothing he can do that will cause his cult to abandon him.

Yep. Trump is the living embodiment of the corporate executive who they spent their careers fighting for better pay and benefits from, and yet they truly believe his bullshit about how he’ll fight for the working man.

Of course the GOP and NRA are going to make this an issue and Beto should know better.

It’s even worse than that. Trump fucking outright attacks them, calling them enemies of the state and implying that maybe someone should “do something” about it like they do in Russia.
