You posted a link to the same study the other commenter posted? The one where the study’s author says specifically that trans women should be ok to compete at elite levels after 2-3 years? The one where he also specifically said that in non-elite competition, one year should be sufficient? Sounds like that’s the part…

What science? Post a link, champ.
Except that in that study, they measured three types of athletic performance (sit-ups, push-ups, and running) and the advantages in 2 of the 3 disappeared after two years. And they also showed that the running advantage was ebbing, just that after 2 years (not 2.5) it hadn’t completely disappeared yet. And, oddly…
You’re talking as though there are skeletons barely hidden in this particular closet. Plenty of inference-but no facts. If you have the beans, then spill them. Otherwise it’s all hot air.
Honestly when you start blockers depends on when puberty starts. The body sets the agenda, not the other way around.
Not hugely. Transphobia and misogyny are broad, oppressive forces, but the combo of transmisogyny is particularly potent. Especially when people of color are involved (guess which women get accused of being trans more often?)
I’ve heard that a reason they didn’t act to call it privileged is that if they did, it would be basically like admitting they were hiding evidence and that their client had committed perjury. So, like, once it was out there, they had no choice but to pretend it hadn’t happened. Why they wouldn’t tel Jones about it, I…
The frogs don’t deserve that
That kind of claim doesn’t apply in a civil case, because you’re not deprived of any rights if your idiot lawyer shits the bed and you lose all your money as a result.
“Satire requires a clarity of purpose and target lest it be mistaken for and contribute to that which it intends to criticize”
Thank you! I saw the headline and immediately though, “Dangerops! Prangent sex!”
I feel like it’s important to note that this is mostly cis people pushing for this. Like, it’s not entirely misplaced (there’s a whole article above this comment on why it’s not a bad idea), but at the end of the day trans folks are a tiny minority and we have slightly more pressing issues on our mind-like Floridians…
Using the phrase “*person* who menstruates” erases your personhood? Are you really claiming that?
Trans people, who have seen literally dozens of laws passed against us in the last year alone: ya fuckin’ think?!
If I could light these people on fire with my brain, then the world would be a better (if smokier) place.
