Thank goodness he's ok - it would have been really ugly if he dyed.

The Crocodile Dundee movies suggest that Australians can survive New York and Los Angeles. But I bet no movies would've been made had they tried to send Dundee to Tampa and its collection of Florida People.
Well, they had one, but it was years ago....
This must be a record for shortest interval between a WYTS entry and one of its predictions coming true. Granted, it wasn’t Drew himself, but:
They might have hard turf in North Dakota, but there’s a shortage of insanely fast, aggressive black dudes up there.
Yes we all know he was doping even in the early days. I’m talking very early - go all the way back to 1980's.
In fairness, most Vikings seasons are done after 12 games.
Not all doping programs are equal. It was not a level praying field. The Texan, Bruyneel and Weisel made sure of that.
He was caught. First time was in 99. His connections covered it up.
“Armstrong’s performance sans doping”
Without doping Lance would not have won any tours. His natural Vo2max and hematocrit levels were far below those of natural champions like Greg Lemond. Lance had a physiology that responded extremely well to oxygen vector doping, allowing him to compete with the other top riders, many of whom had much better baseline…
While I do agree we should let doping go ahead, I think we need to have a separate free for all competition.
There were rules, he broke them, he cheated, it gave him an advantage, he pays for it.
There is nothing close to definitive proof that Lance was a fantastic cyclists pre/without PEDs. We don’t even know when he started taking them. He could have been on them as a 15 year-old triathlete. He most certainly was on them as a 40 year-old triathlete.
Actually if look back in the late 1980's - early 1990's and compared Armstrong’s performance sans doping vs when he started doping, the difference is not small at all.
The thing with doping: you dont take a pill that makes you 25% faster. And if everybody takes that pill, the’re all exactly 25% faster. You could make an argument that Armstrong doped more than his opponents, because he had better resources.
Some cyclist get a bigger boost from EPO than others.
You can’t say Armstrong was the GOAT because you can’t compare him across eras without the drugs. Is he the GOAT if you do that, even amongst American riders? No. Fucking. Way. You can’t extrapolate his success without the drugs. “Well, maybe he would have only won 3 or 4.” You can’t make that argument. His drug usage…
I say this every time I watch another 3-1 game, goddamn do I miss 90's baseball. Anyone who thinks today’s baseball is either an asshole or George Will.
Sheesh. Have a vodka, Collins.
Nothing is ever as good as the discuss phone toss.
