Both the PS3 and Xbox One prices were considered mistakes, and they are flukes in the pricing of consoles. Nearly all consoles (that were successful) in history have sold for under $400 (and thats adjusted for inflation).

Yeah. With the PSVR Sony already has 36 million users with hardware to run it. By PSVR launch it will likely be over 45 million. Even then (assuming you didn’t have a PS4), the cost of the PS4 ~$300 + PRSV ~$300/$400 total, is the cost of just the Rift by itself. If VR is going to take off, I think Sony is going to be…
Firstly Sony made that statement this generation, so it makes sense to take this generations prices. Secondly one of the PS3 models launched at $600 (the other launch models were cheaper) and that was the biggest failing in the history of Playstation (Sony learned their lesson here). Thirdly, even accounting for…
The PS4 has 36 million units sold to date, thats 36 million users that have the hardware needed for the PSVR. How people in the world have a PC that meets the specs to get an optimal experience with the Rift? Prices of the units aside, the sheer number of potential customers for the PSVR dwarfs that of the Rift.
Since the statement by Sony was made this generation, then it makes sense to use this generations prices.
Gear VR costs $99 but is a worthless paperweight unless you buy a $600 phone. So one could compare it to the Rift (saying its useless without a $1500 computer) but I think its more reasonable to just say the Gear VR costs $699. Its kind of a murky comparison though.
Similar to a new console is ~$300, not $600, thats similar to two new consoles.
Not to sound like a troll but I feel that IX is one of the worst in the series, and I am including the likes of Mystic Quest. I have never understood people that think its one of the best. Its story is lack luster, its visuals/style is awful, and its only redeeming quality is the combat system, which is just a throw…
Unless it was a Game of Thrones set...
Fixed? If you mean is it any better outside of VATS than on Fallout 3, no, not really. Some weapons are decent, like energy weapons, but a FPS it isnt.
The Lone Wanderer perk gives you a pretty good bonus to your defense, damage, and carrying capacity if you don’t have a companion. Once you get that perk, you really don’t need your companion.
Be careful. I did this an and NPC hopped in and took off with my power armor. Take out the power core if you do this!
Correct. I wish I had gps.
A couple things to note, the PS3/PS4’s internet connection test does not give you numbers that you can compare with anything else (other than other PS3/4’s) Its not even remotely accurate. I get much, much, faster download speeds (on the PS4) than its internet connection test system would claim. Sometimes by an order…
Not really a fan of Rocksmith, but even playing RB I can remember times when I was playing and my fingers were flying, and I was hitting every note, but I am not sure how. My fingers just started moving!
This does not always work. After I killed the Assaultron and Sentry Bot (both of which had skulls by their names), and opened the door, the armor I got was (another) T45. I was level 12 playing on Normal.
I can’t get on board with this. Everyone talks about how amazing this game looks so it was the first thing I download on my New 3ds, but it looks like garbage. I tried with the 3d on and off and it just looks bad, probably the worst looking game I have played on my 3ds to date. I just don’t understand this. I am…
I find that the exact opposite is true. The power required for the 3d effect makes the game look like garbage when it’s turned on (look at the Xenoblade over world for a fantastic example of this) and when I do get to use the effect (without making it look like a GBA game) I can only stand just barely turning it on,…
Unity took this in the right direction. Prior to Unity you could take on a crowd of 10-20 enemies, and just insta-kill-chain them no problem. In Unity if you get noticed by more than 3 or 4 (in the early to mid game) you are using smoke bombs to hide (or cause them to cough) so you can pick them off one at a time.…
It works a bit like WINE does (and Wine Is Not and Emulator) only much better (and cross CPU). Dynamic recompilation and remapping API’s is not emulation.
