This really shouldn’t even be a debate. The name should be changed. Profits from each sale should be given to the Cherokee Nation from the time that the demand was made until the time that the name is changed.

But not everyone experiences life in the same way. A lot of people feel better about themselves when they know that it’s safe sharing their insecurities with others who have similar feelings. It’s a net positive. Those who view it differently can tune it out.
