I like to think that the director and producers went to the artists to tell them that they had to change the design, only for all of them to look at them with eyes of disdain that screamed “we fucking told you!”

Hopefully they can use existing tracking data and just fix the model? I’m being optimistic, likely some poor VFX artist are going to work long hours.

The golden ring of hell.

Wow and go figure, the comments are still toxic. People are never happy anymore. I can’t remember a single instance where a company did this and yet people are still being negative Nancy.

Oh brother... All the poor VFX artists slaving away in front of their computers from now until November working 22 hour days on the fucking Sonic The Hedgehog movie. It sounds like the lowest ring of hell.

How the fuck are they just NOW getting that message? Ever since the first teaser poster came out it’s been unanimously negative, including from the top people of Sega themselves.

The Kings: “Just in case you missed Kevin Johnson!”

So did anyone else peep that she’s getting a very specific amount of money for being a slave?

*The discussion of reparations has entered the chat*

AND THAT’S WHY THEY’RE SOFT

Yesterday sort of felt the way the Falcon Heavy launch did last year; something so cool that it transcended the event itself.

Okay this comment was bad and has been adopted by the wrong people and should be deleted. Sorry everyone.

That CBS didn’t alter their production to suit you is truly a terrible injustice.

When you’re right, you’re right. Opiate addiction is an individual, personal moral failing. Nothing more, nothing less. Good point!

thanks for letting us know!

Great article that captures everything about this win that made it so special, particularly to those of us old enough to remember Prime Tiger. Man, what a day!

Athletes are measuring sticks.

You’ve clearly never played golf on a municipal course. Far more blue-collar workers playing golf than rich people.

Golf is okay and yesterday was cool.

This post nails a lot of people’s feelings about yesterday. I remember years ago reading about how Tiger, Jordan, Bird, they weren’t just great players but world-class trash talkers, using every trick in the book to psych out their opponents while somehow maintaining a public image that made them look like nice people

I mostly was rooting for Jim Nantz to gloss over the actual details of Tiger’s last ten years (the drug abuse, the DUIs, the public infidelities) with phrases like “after all he’s been through” and “with everything that’s happened.”
