That's why they usually train cops not to go for the head but things like knees and shins. A baton to the knee and you'll go down, worst case scenario it's going to be broken but the fight will also be over.

"If the perp is unarmed but clearly drugged out on PCP, meth, cocaine, etc., it may be subjective but it's likely alright to tase them too."

Now playing

Hey, here in Vancouver a few years ago four burly cops tazered a guy (who had a stapler) a few times, then sat on his neck until he was dead. I mean, imagine. he had a STAPLER. He could have stapled together their triplicate forms before they could have signed them.

"Fix the officers, the system's fine."

"You don't see the police having their guns taken away."

Last I checked Judge Dredd was not working for the Seattle PD.

It would help if cops would be trained to use their tasers instead of a gun, but from what I gather Tasers marketing as well as the police training (developed in no small part by Taser) seems to promote it as a "one size fits all" approach to policing.

"Or no, you're special, car drivers don't experience idiots like this?"

What makes you think the technology is obsolete? It's the fastest way for the US to move from a (Diesel)truck transporation network to a (road)train network to move a lot of goods.

Ummm, who did this photochop? I presume it's an official "photo"?

I am pretty sure for now it's mostly intended for Interstate's, not your back country roads :)

I set up a 500px account on the side and am feeding a few photos in there. "Best of the Best" so to speak.

Trolley buses tend to have only a small battery that allows them to clear an intersection or hop a block or so without being connected.

Not quite comparable to normal powerlines. As the pantograph moves along the wire things like ice etc. get removed and the system stays clear. So it would work even in your neck of the woods, presuming there are enough trucks who would utilize it.

Better but probably harder to do. I mean, how many devices at home can you charge that way at the moment?

You still don't get it, do you? It's more sensitive tissue, but additionally it will also be affected when you apply the chems.

Let's try this again slowly: They use lung cell tissue because for testing it is the most sensitive tissue they can use, so they are able to tell even minor effects UV exposure has on the tissue.

Actually I have to wonder about this "Adam" thing.

From what I understand lung tissue is good in showing these kinds of sensitivities, Also: Where do you think most of the chemicals end up? Yep, in your blood stream, so they will make their way to your lungs too.
