Fear sells. This isn't aimed at you or any other car nut, it's aimed at mommy and daddy who are looking for a new car.

Seriously? You are celebrating this sexist game that only reinforces stereotypes about damsels in distress? Shame on you Kotaku. Now repent over at Jezebel and write four articles about how women are being exploited by the game industry and how sexism is ruining it for all.

Oh look. A typical Gawker piece again about the outrage du jour.

And no, you don't get to use the Texas Sharpshooter fallacy to respond to that [...]

"TRIGGER WARNING: This video contains a handful of graphic scenes involving violence against women. Parents should preview the video first before sharing with young children."

Not so much passion as I find it amusing that rdio gets barely a mention but as I said, every little fart by spotify gets three or four postings across the Gawker network. Makes you wonder who is paying whom.

Oh look, you guys remembered Rdio. I really don't get why you constantly report about every fart that spotify does but forget rdio 99% of the time but every time you do mention it you rate it tops.

Oh geeze. So it's not the fastest thing on the planet? Damn. I guess all the nights I had planned on playing 3D Benchmark will be a disappointment.

Actually, if you play through the game you will learn that they aren't floating the city by balloon or rocket engine but rather by "anti-grav" that was discovered by the Lutrecs.

First of all I don't regularly check on here. I saw another article and then saw this one being recently posted. Looking through the comments your's stuck out because it went against "the grain".

There are different processes to extract the tar from the sand, but the steam injection, as I understand it, only works in specific conditions and is not a universal solution.

Okay question: Why do you think I am trolling? Because I ask questions instead of agreeing with the original author?

And how do you think these female teachers acted towards their male students? Do you think that the way they treated them may have been more negative or positive, not only on them but also how they came to perceive women in general?

"Your stereotypes are largely unobserved and just assumed to be true because it makes some men feel better about themselves."

Local Hell's Angel bar.

There's a German term for it: "Lebensabschnittsgefaehrte", roughly translated into "Life Section Partner".

Obviously generalizitions only apply for a large group, not for individuals within the group and we tend to have a much stronger memory of personal experiences vs. abstracts.

Guys are generally in competition with everybody, they don't single you out specifically (or your gender). To presume you get that kind of pushback because of it is self-defeating. "Know thy enemy" and all that.

Insecure much?

Based on your description one big difference I noted with (us) men is that if they are in the same situation as you there will be a bit of "envy" by the guys, but not to the point where they wish the other guy bad. If anything, there is a kind of camaraderie out of that (e.g. have one for me).
