"Terrific. We're screwed either way."

"He doesn't need to click on "save as". Just saying."

Is Internet porn illegal? Or are you referring to using this as a defence against getting fired / reprimanded at work?

"But wait, what about browser caches? Whenever you look at an image online, it's cached on your computer—even if you don't choose to save it."

There are occasionally people who do stupid things, that's when you get accidents etc. But I would think that overall your risk isn't that much higher, especially in the unlimited areas. Why? Because the people who travel there know full well that some people use it as a race track and act accordingly.

Ah.

They only do this because they know it's him.

"Moreover, when the portion becomes limited, the Germans and slow pass at the right speed, it surprises many foreigners, undisciplined."

$900 you'd be lucky.

People are more used to these kinds of speed. In general a truck will start signalling, then wait a few seconds before starting to pull out, so there is usually enough time to slow down/ change lanes etc.

It's also a lot more expensive in Germany to get your license and you have to wait longer (18). I spent close to 5K for my car and motorcycle license back in Germany (and then promptly was allowed to re-take the motorcycle test in Canada because, well, as I was told they couldn't ascertain that I was properly trained).

"it would likely be disastrous if it did"

BBC Horizon had a special on "The Truth about Fitness", the name is pretty annoying and sensationalistic, but one thing they talked about was a short, hard workout three times a week will actually give you the majority of the cardio benefits.

Interesting, question is though: Is it more than the heat island effect in cities?

Well all I can say: Welcome to driving in the Lower Mainland. I've rarely been in a place in the Western world were people are so...... idiotic when it comes to any kind of transport. Be it car, (motor)bike or feet.

Yeah, I am thinking the same thing. It could buy us the time we need to prepare fo the changes ahead, but in all likelihood the denial lobby will use it to prevent any kind of progress. *sigh*

You'd figure they've learned from the Music Industry by now, but alas, it seems, some organizations are beyond help.

Thanks, I AM German, I just happen to live in North America for the last decade :P

Actually there is a term for "Schlimmbesserung" in English: "Middle Managment".

They won't. Because they perceive their customers as being clueless who won't know any better.
