That Sam Cooke performance is always my answer to this question, too. Great call out.

Plus the Batman Scooby Doo appearances that might have been my first encounter with the caped crusader.
"Hey, the problem isn't that I did what I did. The problem is that the story leaked out."
It's debatable. I think all three are equally superb, to be honest. Though Bride has the series' best character in Dr Pretorious.
Screw the world. I'M begging for a new Mothra film.
Or maybe he literally has the biggest bag of Chips Ahoy ever made, with 420 cookies in it.
If you're looking for a band name, Extra Olives is now officially pretty rad.
That's a pretty coastal attitude. There are tons of movies set in small American towns that were hits internationally.
Yeah, of course. I have nothing but sympathy for the women who were bullied by those clowns - particularly Leslie Jones who was harassed off of Twitter, I believe. The AV Club could attack those MRA douchenozzles every day for the rest of eternity and and I'd have no problem with it.
Yeah. I think the franchise idea had potential, and would give them a chance to get out of New York for a change. I mean, wouldn't it have been funny to see like the ragtag Ghostbusters franchise operating in Kansas City or somewhere like that?
Hmmm… I didn't even know this. Interesting.
There's a great line from Leslie Jones about a ghost riding a subway train. I won't spoil it by repeating it, but that line gave me one of the biggest laughs I got from a movie all last year.
They've kind of done that, though. Apparently it's really called, "Ghostbusters: Answer the Call", though it was never heavily marketed that way until the DVD/Blu Ray release.
Take my upvote, you monster.
I felt the coverage of the new Ghostbusters movie on the AV Club was really weird.
I dunno. If we've got d boon and Eazy-E, I figure we just need the ghost of a great drummer and we can start recording.
First semester in college. Bought it the day it released. It was amazing. Infuriated my roommates listening to it over and over.
Jonny Greenwood is one of the most interesting guitar players of his generation. You're damn right I'm gonna complain that he doesn't play guitar more.
My neighbor's cat had a Bronx accent and talked about conspiracy theories all day. No idea where that came from but I found it amusing.
But I think you've gotta forgive that of a talking dog.
