My Grandfather’s cars when he passed away. Most of them hurt in some way, but one stands out the most: Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Coupe w/ Manual and 8k miles. He maintained everything immaculately, keeping the cars covered and garaged when not in use, but using them regularly enough.

Yes, a scratch does, but any type of dent/puncture is much cheaper to repair because there’s no paint involved. A quick Google search, and I can get a brand new replacement front bumper for $76 + shipping for a JK Wrangler.

This is also probably why Wranglers are so cheap to insure. Easy to work on, historically not fast, bumpers/fenders are unpainted.

Or WRX/STi

“Napa leather”

I’m hoping they come out with a better accent/rim package on the Rubicon. I had a 2014 JKU Sport for ~2.5 years / 47k miles that was a lemon and a half, but I would love to get back into a JL or 4Runner from my WRX in a few years.

You’re right - even the most basic Wrangler is extremely capable. Toss the all season tires, slap on some AT/off-road tires, and you’re good to go.

Boston isn’t that bad if you’re downtown.  It’s when you get into some of the sprawling areas that the public transportation options go downhill.  If the weather is nice and you’re sightseeing, you can pretty much walk anywhere you want to.

Rental car fraud in Mexico:

I’m with you for the most part, up until removal of the headphone jack.  Also, at this point it would be great if every device just hopped on the USB C train, but Apple wants to make a buck off of every lightning cable and prevent people from using commoditized options.

Depending on how old these cars were, another possibility is that they were fresh off lease. There are some dealers that won’t toss new tires on a BMW 3 series with 35k on it, even though the tires are 80% gone. Also, sometimes you’ll see cars with 2 new tires on them. Sometimes I just want to imagine the burnouts

I warned a colleague about her burnt out turn signal. It used the same bulb as her brake light on the driver side, so I noticed it when she was leaving work in front of me.

Chili Crab and the buttery fried bread at Jumbo are to die for.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (replaces supersport and allegedly redefines the benchmark).

I’m with you 100% especially on the last point.

Research, research, research, then buy them at Costco.

Thank you.  Ryan no write good.

Good luck!

What model car is that?

Honestly, I just have the $16 Amazon foam cannon (Fasmov brand) and it’s fine. It’s not going to get you the same even spray of foam in this video (or at least I haven’t achieved that yet in the couple of times I’ve used it), but I can get my car squeaky clean.
