I can’t speak for the other comments, but mine is specifically targeted toward “drivers in mainland China, at least on the eastern side” not Asian drivers elsewhere. Driving around some of the major cities and the highways outside/connecting them feels like anarchy compared to driving in most western countries. I’ve

This is the norm in China. Specifically mainland China.

I’m 100% with you. The new ones are great too, but look like they’re oversculpted. Yes I just made that word up, but it’s true.

Of course the current car is going to be better - it’s 12-18 years newer. The W220 did a better job of hiding its size though (in my opinion).

My only experience with the W220 generation is the S55 AMG, which was the opposite of terrible!

It’s worth noting that:

I think it’s precisely for that - jewelry. I have friends with Rolex watches worth $20k+ or my wife with her expensive engagement and wedding rings. People go to work; then go to the gym, or drive to various places where they may not want to wear expensive bling. The glovebox gives the illusion of security, but

Q: Why did Subaru only install auto up/down windows on the driver side of my ‘16 WRX?

Which looks like a sad riff on the old Durango.

Zero, if you’re within a decent margin of the speed limit.

Sorry to be a pain, but the “First Generation” liberty you posted is really a post-refresh model. You can tell by the awkward blinkers. I learned to drive on an ‘03! I thought the 2005+ was cool looking back in 2004 when it came out, but after a little while I realized how much more I prefer the endearing look of the

Can confirm, WRX also does not have adequate clearance, for my taste at least. It’s better than some cars, but I find myself holding my breath before pulling into some parking lots / driveways.

I’ve been in a few Ubers when it’s lightly snowing. I have a WRX with blizzaks, so I’m biased... but... SO MANY BALD TIRES ON UBERS. When your car gets stuck on a flat surface with half an inch of snow... you should probably consider getting new tires.

Agreed 100%.

Glad to see that you fall into the educated owner bucket.

Based on your suggestion that you’d sign a petition to end all semi-automatic and automatic guns in a heartbeat, I have a feeling that you don’t own guns or else fall into an extremely small subset of gun owners that either doesn’t understand the different mechanisms, or truly wants everything to be bolt/pump action.

I agree, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. I previously owned an escape limited (first generation) and really wished it was the Mariner equivalent, just for the slightly better stereo and nicer exterior trim. I was gifted the car so really can’t complain, but I feel the same way about the LX/LC.

Focus RS production is temporary, but head gasket production is forever.

Please don’t buy that GTX 1060. $360 is not a great price for it, and is NOT a savings versus the “Walmart” price. The Walmart price referenced is a 3rd party listing on Walmart’s site.
